Cyclone Cycles & Mowers have been in business in Canterbury since 1952 - we're locally owned and operated with years of practical experience.

We hire out our bikes for recreational purposes to tourists, travellers and locals, to business and corporate groups for team building as well as social groups for fitness and fun!

We only hire well-maintained, quality bikes - we are a Shimano servicing agent so know how to service properly, your safety on our hire bikes is important to us.

Canterbury and the South Island has some fantastic scenery, open roads and off-trail tracks for cycling and mountain-biking.  Let us help you in seeing NZ or simply experience Christchurch, the Port Hills and surrounds in a different way - through mountain-biking and cycling. 

   Cycle Hire Pricing: 

        We've made our hire bike charges simple...

  • A flat $45.00 per day per hire bike (inclusive of GST)

        Included within this price:

  • Bike Helmet
  • Spare Bike Tube
  • Cycle Pump
  • Tyre Levers

NB:  Cycle panniers are also available on request

Special rates are available if you are wanting to hire bikes for a group or for a longer period    of time - we are flexible so let us know and we can talk over your needs and options - (03) 332 9588 or simply fill in the hire bike form with details and we will contact you back to discuss.
